Connecting you with verified tutors...
Version 1.0 · Last Updated: June 23, 2026
These Terms of Service apply to parents, guardians, and adult students who use Tutors Parliament to discover, connect with, or engage tutors. If you are a parent engaging a tutor on behalf of your child, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these terms on your child's behalf.
Tutors Parliament (Tutors Parliament, a proprietorship business operating from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India) is a curated tutor discovery and matching platform that helps parents and students find verified home and online tutors for personalised 1-on-1 learning.
Marketplace, not a school. We are not a school, coaching institute, or educational institution. We do not create curriculum, deliver lessons, or employ tutors. Tutors listed on the platform are independent professionals operating their own services.
No guarantee of outcomes. We make no representation or warranty that using the platform — or engaging any tutor — will result in improved grades, admission to any institution, or any specific educational outcome. Academic results depend on many factors, including the student's own engagement and effort.
Verification limitation. We conduct a multi-step verification process for tutors at the time of onboarding, based on documents submitted by the tutor. While we take quality seriously, we cannot guarantee that every piece of information provided by a tutor is accurate. We encourage parents to conduct their own due diligence.
Verification is based on documents submitted by tutors and internal screening processes. Tutors Parliament does not perform police background checks or independently verify every credential with issuing authorities.
When you submit a tutor request, we shortlist one or more tutors based on the information you provide (class, board, subject, city, preferred mode). Shortlisting may be assisted by AI-based matching tools, with final selection always involving human review and your own decision.
Tutor availability is subject to change; we do not guarantee that a specific tutor will be available at the time of your request.
Demo / trial classes are for evaluation purposes only. Conversion to ongoing tuition is entirely your decision and the tutor's agreement.
Direct engagement. Once we introduce you to a tutor, the tuition relationship is between you and the tutor directly. TP is not a party to that engagement and is not responsible for the tutor's conduct during sessions.
You may be invited to submit a review of your tutoring experience. Reviews must be honest, factual, and based on your genuine experience. Defamatory, false, or malicious reviews violate our guidelines and may be removed. We publish reviews to help other parents make informed decisions and do not edit reviews for content, but reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines or applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tutors Parliament's aggregate liability to you — in respect of any claim arising out of or relating to the platform — shall not exceed Rs 5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand) or the value of any fees paid directly to TP, whichever is lower.
TP is not liable for: (a) the conduct, acts, or omissions of any tutor; (b) any educational outcome or result; (c) any harm resulting from in-person or online tuition sessions; or (d) any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in this clause limits TP's liability for death or personal injury caused by TP's own negligence, or for fraud or wilful misconduct.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Consumer grievances. If you have a complaint, please first contact our Grievance Officer at grievance@tutorsparliament.com. We commit to acknowledging your complaint within 48 hours and providing a substantive response within 14 business days.
Nothing in these Terms limits your right to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction over disputes not resolved through the above process.
